Campaign Engagement Fee
A $25 fee applies if your campaign receives offers but you don't accept any. This fee exists to respect creators' time - when influencers take time to review your campaign and craft personalized offers, we want to ensure that effort isn't wasted.
When charged:
- At the 7-day mark if offers were received but none accepted
- When you end a campaign early if offers were received but none accepted
Not charged if:
- You accept at least one offer
- Your campaign doesn't receive any offers
- You already paid the fee at the 7-day checkpoint
For more details, see Creating Your First Campaign.
For Influencers
Platform Fee
SpaceLoud takes a 25% platform fee from influencer earnings. You receive 75% of the agreed amount.
This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and support services.
Payout Options
SpaceLoud offers three payout methods:
| Method | Platform Fee | Additional Fee | You Receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | 25% | None | 75% |
| Stripe Global Payments | 25% | None | 75% |
| PayPal | 25% | +2% (max $2) | ~73-75% |
Stripe vs Stripe Global Payments: Both are powered by Stripe with no extra fees. Stripe (Express) is available in 39 countries. Stripe Global Payments extends support to 31 additional countries — including India, South Africa, the Philippines, Kenya, and more — paying directly to your local bank account. SpaceLoud automatically selects the right option based on your country.
PayPal fee explained: PayPal charges a 2% fee on payouts, capped at $2 maximum. This is deducted from your payout.
Setting Up Payments
Option 1: Stripe (Recommended)
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click "Connect with Stripe"
- Confirm your country
- Complete Stripe's verification process
- Link your bank account
- Wait for verification (usually 1-2 business days)
Stripe supports 70 countries. See the full list in our Getting Paid guide.
Option 2: PayPal
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Enter your PayPal email address
- Save your settings
- You're ready to receive payments
When You Get Paid
Payment is released when:
- Artist approves all your submitted work
- OR the 48-hour auto-approval timer expires
Once released, payment goes directly to your connected payout account.
Payment Timing
- Released immediately when work is approved/auto-approved
- Direct transfer to your Stripe or PayPal account
- Stripe: Typically arrives in 2-5 business days
- PayPal: Usually arrives within minutes
Tracking Your Earnings
In your dashboard, you can see:
- Pending payments (awaiting approval)
- In-progress work
- Completed payments
- Total earnings
The 48-Hour Timer
When you submit all your work, a 48-hour timer starts:
- If the artist doesn't review within 48 hours, work is auto-approved
- Payment is released automatically
This ensures influencers always get paid promptly.
Billing Issues
If you're having payment problems:
- Check your payment method is valid and has funds
- Verify your Stripe account is properly set up
- Email hello@spaceloud.com with:
- Your account email
- Transaction or campaign ID
- Description of the issue
Failed Subscription Payments
If your subscription payment fails, your account becomes past due. Here's what happens:
- We automatically retry — We'll attempt to charge your card a few more times over several days
- Access may be limited — While past due, you may not be able to use subscription features
- Subscription may be cancelled — If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be cancelled
Why did my payment fail?
Common reasons include:
- Expired or replaced credit card
- Insufficient funds
- Bank declined the transaction
- Card flagged by fraud protection
How do I fix this?
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Update your payment method with a valid card
- Your subscription will be restored once payment succeeds
Note: If you're seeing messages about not having a subscription but you believe you're subscribed, your most recent payment likely failed. Update your payment method to restore access immediately rather than waiting for auto-retry attempts.
Why am I stuck on the Subscribe page?
If you're being redirected to the Subscribe page every time you try to access your dashboard or any other page, it means your subscription has lapsed. This happens when your most recent subscription payment couldn't be processed — usually because of insufficient funds, an expired card, or your bank declining the charge.
Because your subscription is no longer active, the platform requires you to resolve it before you can access your artist dashboard, campaigns, or other features. That's why you keep landing on the Subscribe page no matter where you try to go.
Unfortunately, there's no way to bypass this page while your subscription is lapsed. The previous payment failed and won't go through on its own. To regain access, you'll need to start a new subscription from the Subscribe page. Make sure to use a valid, working card this time to avoid running into the same issue again.
