Getting Paid
Setting up Stripe Connect, understanding payouts, and tracking earnings.
Platform Fee
SpaceLoud takes a 25% platform fee from influencer earnings.
When you complete a booking, 25% goes to SpaceLoud and you receive 75% of the agreed amount. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and support services.
Setting Up Stripe Connect
You must set up Stripe Connect to receive payments.
How to Connect
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click "Connect with Stripe"
- You'll be redirected to Stripe's onboarding
- Complete the verification process
- Return to SpaceLoud once finished
What You'll Need
- Government-issued ID
- Bank account details
- Social Security Number (US) or equivalent
- Business information (if applicable)
Verification Timeline
- Most accounts are verified instantly
- Some may require additional documents
- Stripe will email you if more info is needed
- Typically 1-2 business days for full verification
Supported Countries
Stripe Connect payments are available in the following countries:
North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Asia-Pacific: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand
Middle East: United Arab Emirates
Not Currently Supported: Brazil, India, most of Africa, most of South America, and other regions not listed above.

How Payments Work
Payment Flow
- Artist Books You - Payment is held in escrow
- You Create Content - Complete and post your content
- You Submit Work - Submit your social media link
- Artist Approves - They review within 48 hours
- Payment Released - Funds sent to your Stripe account
When You Get Paid
Payment is released when:
- Artist approves all your submitted work
- OR the 48-hour auto-approval timer expires
Either way, you get paid!
The 48-Hour Guarantee
If an artist doesn't review your work within 48 hours:
- Work is automatically approved
- A 5-star rating is created
- Payment is released to you
- This ensures you always get paid for completed work
Payment Timing
- Released immediately when work is approved/auto-approved
- Direct transfer to your Stripe Connect account
- Arrives in 2-5 business days (depends on your bank)
Tracking Your Earnings
Dashboard Overview
Your earnings dashboard shows:
- Pending - Work submitted, awaiting approval
- In Progress - Active bookings
- Completed - Paid transactions
- Total Earnings - Lifetime earnings on SpaceLoud
Payment History
View detailed history including:
- Artist name
- Campaign details
- Amount earned
- Payment date
- Transaction status
Troubleshooting
Payment Not Received
If your payment is delayed:
- Check your Stripe Connect dashboard
- Verify your bank details are correct
- Look for any Stripe verification requests
- Allow 2-5 business days after release
Still Missing After 5+ Days
Contact us at hello@spaceloud.com with:
- Campaign/booking ID
- Expected payment amount
- Date work was approved
- Your Stripe Connect account email
Can't Set Up Stripe Connect
If you're having trouble:
- Check email for Stripe verification requests
- Ensure all required info is provided
- Try a different browser
- Contact Stripe support directly
- Email hello@spaceloud.com if issues persist
Stripe Opening in the Wrong Country
When connecting Stripe, some users notice it opens with a different country than expected (e.g., US instead of Brazil).
Why This Happens:
Your Stripe account country is determined when you first click "Connect with Stripe" based on the location in your SpaceLoud profile. Once created, Stripe accounts cannot change their country—this is a Stripe platform limitation.
This occurs if you:
- First connected Stripe without setting your country (defaults to US)
- Changed your SpaceLoud location after first connecting Stripe
How to Fix It:
- Update your location in Settings → Edit Profile to your correct country
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click "Disconnect Stripe" to disconnect your current account
- Click "Connect with Stripe" again
- Stripe will now open with your correct country
- Complete the onboarding for your country
Important Notes:
- You must set your correct country before clicking "Connect with Stripe"
- Each country has different requirements (e.g., Brazil requires CPF, US requires SSN)
- If you've already received payments to your old account, contact hello@spaceloud.com before disconnecting
Work Submitted But No Payment
Check the status in your dashboard:
- Final Review - Waiting for artist (48-hour timer running)
- Revision Requested - Artist needs changes (resubmit)
- Completed - Payment should be in your Stripe
Tax Information
Your Responsibilities
- Keep records of all earnings
- You may receive tax forms (1099 in the US)
- SpaceLoud doesn't provide tax advice
- Consult a tax professional for guidance
Record Keeping
Download payment records from your dashboard for tax purposes.
