Managing Your Account

Keep your SpaceLoud account up to date and secure.

Your Account Type

When you sign up, you choose to join as an artist, or on the influencer side as an influencer, curator, or both. This choice can't be changed on an existing account afterward — for example, an artist account can't be converted into an influencer account. If you want to use SpaceLoud in a different role than the one you signed up with, create a separate account using a different email address.

Your account type decides where things live, so the same task can sit in two different places. Adding a Spotify playlist is the clearest example: a curator adds their playlist in SettingsCurator Channels, while an artist picks Spotify Playlist as a curator placement preference when creating a campaign. Same words, two different screens.

Accessing Settings

For Artists:

  • Desktop: Click your profile picture (top right) and select "Settings"
  • Mobile: Tap "More" in the bottom menu, then tap "Settings"
  • Navigate using the sidebar tabs

Go to Artist Settings →

For Influencers:

  • Desktop: Click your profile picture (top right) and select "Settings"
  • Mobile: Tap "More" in the bottom menu, then tap "Settings"
  • Navigate using the sidebar tabs

Go to Influencer Settings →

Profile Settings

Update your basic information:

  • Display Name - How you appear on the platform
  • Bio/Biography - Tell others about yourself
  • Profile Photo - Use a professional, recognizable image
  • Genres - Music genres you work with

Influencers: Your Display Name must resemble the @handle of your primary connected social account. See Setting Up Your Influencer Profile for details.

Email Notification Settings

Notification Preferences (Artists Only)

Choose which categories of emails you receive:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Turn each category on or off:
    • Batch Offer Email Summary — off by default. When on, you get one summary email per hour with all new offers instead of an individual email for each one, which cuts down on inbox clutter during high-volume campaigns.
    • Performance Updates — campaign, challenge, and Meta Ads stats digests, final results recaps, and autopilot summaries.
    • Milestone Celebrations — congrats emails when a campaign, challenge, or Meta Ads run passes a views, streams, or listener-growth milestone.
    • Reminders — nudges to review pending offers, pick challenge winners, restart ended campaigns, and quick surveys.
    • Marketing Emails — product news, tips, and promotional emails from SpaceLoud.

Performance Updates, Milestone Celebrations, Reminders, and Marketing Emails are on by default; Batch Offer Email Summary is off by default. Turning off Performance Updates no longer affects Milestone Celebrations (or vice versa) — they're separate toggles, so you can keep one and turn off the other. Payment and account emails (like payout confirmations and password resets) are always sent, regardless of these settings.

Getting flooded with offer emails? A popular campaign can bring in dozens of influencer offers within minutes, and by default each one sends its own email. Turn on Batch Offer Email Summary in Settings → Notifications to switch to one summary email per hour instead — you'll still see every offer in your dashboard, just without the inbox pile-up.

Notification Preferences (Influencers Only)

Choose which categories of emails you receive:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Turn each category on or off:
    • Offers & Bookings - New campaign opportunities, booking requests, and updates when offers are accepted, declined, or expire
    • Reminders - Nudges to post your content, submit revisions, and respond to pending offers
    • Challenges - New challenge announcements, updates, and results

All three are on by default. Payment and account emails (like payout confirmations and password resets) are always sent, regardless of these settings.

Password & Security

To change your password:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity (Artist | Influencer)
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

Forgot Your Password?

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it:

  1. Go to the Sign In page
  2. Click "Forgot your password?" below the password field
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click "Send reset link"
  5. Check your email for the password reset link
  6. Click the link in the email (valid for 24 hours)
  7. Enter and confirm your new password

Note: For security reasons, you won't receive a confirmation if the email doesn't exist in our system.

Trouble Logging In?

"I can't log in, and I don't remember which email I used." This is the most common reason sign-in fails. If you've used more than one email address with us — or a friend/bandmate created the account — try the password reset flow (above) with each email address you might have used. The confirmation or receipt email from SpaceLoud, or any billing statement showing a charge from SpaceLoud, will show the exact email your account is under.

"I can't log in and I also see a charge I don't recognize." These two issues are almost always connected — the charge is on the account you can't get into, under an email you haven't tried yet. Work through the step above first. If you're still stuck after trying every email address you might have signed up with, email hello@spaceloud.com with: every email address you might have used, the approximate signup date, and a screenshot of the charge from your bank or card statement — that's enough for our team to locate the account without you needing to log in.

Magic Link Sign-In (Passwordless)

You can sign in without a password using a magic link:

  1. Go to the Sign In page
  2. Click the "Magic Link" tab
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click "Send Magic Link"
  5. Check your email for the sign-in link
  6. Click the link to be automatically signed in

Important notes:

  • Magic links expire after 1 hour
  • Magic link sign-in is only available for existing accounts
  • If you haven't signed in before, please use your password for the first login
  • You can request a new magic link after 30 seconds if needed

Payment Settings

For Artists

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Add or update your payment method
  3. Click "Manage Subscription" to access the Stripe portal

Can't remove your card? A payment method on file is required for an active subscription, so you can't remove your only card while your subscription is still active. See "Canceling Your Subscription" below — once it's canceled (or has ended), you're free to remove the card.

For Influencers

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click "Connect Stripe Account" to set up payouts
  3. Complete Stripe verification to receive payments

Managing Your Subscription

To view or change your subscription:

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:
    • View your current plan
    • Upgrade or downgrade
    • Update payment methods
    • Cancel subscription

Canceling Your Subscription

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. In the Stripe portal, click "Cancel subscription"
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm

How to confirm your cancellation worked: After completing the steps above, Stripe sends a cancellation confirmation email to your account address. In Settings → Payments, your subscription status will show as "Active until [end date]" — this means it won't renew, and you keep access until that date. If you don't see this change or receive an email, the cancellation may not have completed — repeat the steps above.

Important notes:

  • Access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • Active campaigns continue running
  • Existing offers are not affected
  • You can resubscribe at any time
  • No refunds for partial billing periods

Tip: Your Payments settings are always reachable — whether your subscription is active, past due after a failed payment, or already canceled or expired. You'll never be locked out of managing or canceling your subscription there, even if other parts of your dashboard are temporarily unavailable. The same applies to Notifications and Change Email or Password. You don't need an active subscription to manage your account.

Deleting Your Account

If you'd like to permanently delete your SpaceLoud account, you can do so from your settings:

  1. Go to SettingsChange Email or Password (Artist | Influencer) and scroll to the bottom
  2. Review any blockers that may prevent deletion
  3. Click "Delete My Account"
  4. Type your email address to confirm
  5. Click "Delete My Account" in the confirmation dialog

What happens when you delete your account

  • You will be immediately signed out
  • You will no longer be able to log in
  • Your profile will no longer be visible on SpaceLoud
  • You will be unsubscribed from all marketing emails
  • (Influencers) Any pending proposals you have sent will be automatically withdrawn

Requirements before deleting

You must resolve the following before your account can be deleted:

For Artists:

  • No active subscriptionCancel your subscription first. You don't have to wait for it to run out: as soon as you've cancelled, deletion is available, even if your plan or free trial is still scheduled to end on a later date. Note that deleting your account ends the subscription right away, so any remaining trial or paid time is forfeited.
  • No active campaigns — Complete or close any campaigns that are in "Posted" or "In Progress" status from your Dashboard.
  • No in-progress proposals — Finish or resolve any outstanding proposals (accepted, submitted, in review, or pending book-now requests) from your Dashboard.

For Influencers:

  • No in-progress proposals — Complete or resolve any outstanding proposals (accepted, submitted, in review, or pending book-now requests) from your Dashboard.

Once all blockers are resolved, the delete button will become available.

Can I recover my account?

Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account data cannot be recovered. If you're unsure, consider taking a break instead — this keeps your account intact in case you want to return later.

Social Media Accounts (Influencers)

Manage your connected platforms:

  1. Go to SettingsSocial Accounts
  2. Connect or disconnect platforms
  3. Update your profile URLs
  4. Set your rates for each platform

Referring Friends

Both artists and influencers can invite friends to join SpaceLoud from Settings:

  1. Go to SettingsRefer a Friend (Artist | Influencer)
  2. Enter your friend's email address
  3. Click "Send Invitation"

Your friend receives an email invitation with a link to join SpaceLoud. This is a simple way to grow your network on the platform — it doesn't currently include a cash reward or credit for each signup.
