Setting Up Your Influencer Profile
Optimize your profile to attract more artists and opportunities.
Choosing Your Role
During sign-up, you'll choose one of three roles:
- Influencer — Promote music on social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Curator — Place and review music on playlists, blogs, and review platforms
- Both — Offer social media promotion and curator placements
Your role determines which onboarding steps you see and what appears on your profile. You can always add curator channels later from Settings → Curator Channels.
Chose "Curator" or "Both"? See our Curator Guide for channel setup and curator-specific workflows.
Account Setup Checklist
To start working on SpaceLoud, you need:
- ✅ Complete your profile (name, bio, photo)
- ✅ Connect your social media accounts (if Influencer or Both)
- ✅ Set up your curator channels (if Curator or Both) — see Setting Up Channels
- ✅ Set your rates for each platform
- ✅ Set up Stripe Connect for payments
Creating Your Profile
Basic Information
- Display Name - Use your creator/brand name
- Bio - Describe your content style and niche
- Profile Photo - Use a professional, recognizable image
- Genres - Select music genres you enjoy promoting
- Content Type - Describe what kind of content you create
Connecting Social Media
Link your social media accounts to showcase your reach:
- Go to Settings → Social Accounts
- Click Connect next to each platform
- Authorize SpaceLoud to view your stats
- Your follower counts will be displayed on your profile
Supported platforms:
- TikTok
- Instagram (Reels & Stories)
- YouTube (Videos & Shorts)
- Snapchat
TikTok: You can sign in with your TikTok account for a verified connection — SpaceLoud automatically keeps your follower count and video stats up to date, and shows a verified badge on your profile. Look for the "Connect TikTok" button on the Social Accounts page. Other platforms are added by entering your profile details manually.
Seeing your real follower count: The follower field on the Social Accounts page is a range (for example "1M-5M"), so it can't show your exact number — especially if you're above the top of the range. Underneath each platform you connect, SpaceLoud shows a green confirmation line with your exact, live-detected follower count (for example, "We detected 20,300,000 followers from your live TikTok profile · updated 2 days ago"). This is the real number we use, and it's kept up to date automatically — you don't need to do anything to make it appear.
Setting Your Rates
Set competitive rates for each platform you offer:
- Go to Settings → Social Accounts
- Set your minimum price for each platform
- Consider:
- Your follower count and engagement rate
- What similar creators charge
- Time and effort required
Tip: You can always adjust rates later or negotiate on individual offers.
Note: Artists can see your average accepted offer on your profile—this is calculated from your completed bookings and helps them know what to offer you.

How the Most Booked Ranking Works
Artists see influencers sorted by "Most Booked" by default:

- 30% - Recent activity (work in last 90 days)
Building a strong track record helps you appear higher in search results.
Setting Up Payments
Important: You must set up Stripe Connect to receive payments.
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click "Connect Stripe Account"
- Complete Stripe's verification (ID, bank account)
- Wait for verification (usually 1-2 business days)
See our Getting Paid guide for more details.

If you selected "Curator" or "Both" during sign-up (or want to add curation later):
- Go to Settings → Curator Channels
- Add your playlists, blogs, or review platforms
- Set pricing ($2-$5 per channel) and genre tags
