Adding a Channel

During Onboarding

If you selected "Curator" or "Both" during sign-up, you'll be guided through adding your first channels as part of the onboarding flow.

From Settings

  1. Go to SettingsCurator Channels
  2. Click "Add Channel"
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • Channel Type — Select from the list above
    • Channel Name — Your playlist or blog name (e.g., "Lo-Fi Chill Vibes")
    • Channel URL — Direct link to your playlist or site
    • Monthly Listeners/Visitors — Your channel's reach
  4. Set your price ($2-$5 per placement)
  5. Add up to 3 genre tags to help artists find you
  6. Click Save

Setting Your Price

Curator channel pricing is $2-$5 per channel. This is a fixed rate — artists cannot negotiate your curator prices (though they can choose to select or deselect individual channels).

Pricing Tips

  • $2 — New or smaller channels looking to build a track record
  • $3 — Established channels with steady listeners
  • $4-$5 — High-traffic playlists or popular blogs

Genre Tags

Each channel can have up to 3 genre tags from 76 available genres across 11 categories. Genres help artists find curators who specialize in their style of music.

Why Genres Matter

  • Artists can filter curators by genre on the Book Influencers page
  • Campaigns show which genres they're targeting
  • Matching genres means better placements for everyone

Choosing Genres

Pick genres that genuinely reflect what your channel features. If your Spotify playlist focuses on lo-fi hip-hop and chill beats, tag it with those genres rather than broad categories.

Managing Your Channels

Editing a Channel

  1. Go to SettingsCurator Channels
  2. Edit any field (name, URL, price, genres, monthly listeners)
  3. Click Save to apply changes

Removing a Channel

  1. Go to SettingsCurator Channels
  2. Click the delete icon on the channel you want to remove
  3. Confirm deletion

Note: Removing a channel won't affect any active or completed bookings for that channel.

Your Profile

Your curator channels appear on your public profile alongside your social media platforms. Artists browsing the Book Influencers page can see:

  • Your channel names and types
  • Pricing for each channel
  • Genre tags
  • Monthly listeners/visitors
