Getting Started as a Curator
Learn what curators do on SpaceLoud and how to get started.
What is a Curator?
Curators are playlist curators, music bloggers, and reviewers who earn money by placing and reviewing music on their channels. If you run a Spotify playlist, write a music blog, or review tracks on YouTube or other platforms, the curator role is for you.
Curator vs. Influencer
SpaceLoud has two creator roles:
| Influencer | Curator | |
|---|---|---|
| What you do | Post content featuring songs on social media | Place songs on playlists, blogs, or review platforms |
| How you earn | Per-platform rates ($10-$2,000) | Per-channel rates ($2-$5) |
| Deliverables | Social media posts (TikTok, Reels, etc.) | Song reviews, playlist adds, blog features |
| Pricing | Negotiable with artists | Fixed — you set your price |
Choosing Your Role
During sign-up, you'll choose one of three options:
